Discovering the Energy Inertia Principle of Object

Discovering the Energy Inertia Principle of Object (EIPO) (also revealing the mechanism behind energy inertia): while the concept of energy inertia is taken for granted in physics, the mechanism behind energy inertia has not been revealed until the birth of OMDW law (*note, OMDW law = the law of object’s mass doing work, P. 93 ~ 109, Ch.1A, reference #1). The task of discovering the Energy Inertia Principle of Object (EIPO) (also revealing the mechanism behind energy inertia has been finished, and EIPO is discovered as the result of restating OMDW law from the perspective of the total energy balance of an object (P. 122 ~ 125, 1.8, Ch.1B, reference #1).

The main content of EIPO: when the kinetic energy of an object is increased by the action of external force, due to the effect of the object’s mass doing positive work, the object possesses the property to resist increasing of its total energy thus tends to maintain its existing amount of total energy. Contrarily, when the kinetic energy of an object is decreased by the action of external force, due to the effect of the object’s mass doing negative work, the object possesses the property to resist decreasing of its total energy thus also tends to maintain its existing amount of total energy. Therefore, whether the kinetic energy of an object is increased or decreased by the action of external force, the effect of the object’s mass doing work always makes the object possess the property to resist changing of its total energy thus tend to maintain its existing amount of total energy. EIPO can be simply as that: due to the effect of object’s mass doing work, an object possesses the property to resist changing of its total energy thus has the tendency to maintain its existing amount of total energy when its kinetic energy is increased or decreased by the action of external force. The profound implications of EIPO: (i) EIPO reveals and quantifies the mechanism behind energy inertia for the first time in the history of physics and science. (ii) EIPO fundamentally deepens our understanding of the concept of energy inertia.

The key to understanding of EIPO: (i) the newly discovered law of object’s mass doing work (OMDW) (P. 93 ~ 109, Ch.1A, reference #1) ---- simply because the mechanism of EIPO is OMDW law. In other words, as long as you have known the greatest equation in the history of science, which is Einstein’s famous mass-energy equation (E = mc^2 or E0 = mc^2), you will easily understand EIPO, because OMDW law has revealed the mechanism behind the greatest equation (P. 114 ~ 118, Ch.1B, reference #1). (ii) The analogy: when the kinetic energy of an object is increased by the action of external force, EIPO makes the object open the window on its mass and lose energy from and by consuming its own mass. (iii) The analogy: when the kinetic energy of an object is decreased by the action of external force, EIPO makes the object possess the ability to ‘entrap’ and convert (otherwise would be lost) kinetic energy into its mass.

The applicable value of EIPO: EIPO turns out to be essentially connected with the concepts of mass possessing energy and mass doing work, thus closely connected with the fundamental foundation for developing energy by releasing the ability of mass doing work, and this energy capacity is enormously large (P. 912, 10.3.1, Ch.10, reference #2).
